Crafting for Connection - with Louise

What can i expect from this class?

Crafting for Connection is a chance to come together in front of the beautiful M Lake and get lost in a crafty project - just under two hours of getting stuck into an artsy activity that you're already working on, or fancy trying for the first time! This might include drawing or painting on canvas, glass or ceramic, sculpting clay, making a mixed media collage, creating a cute piece of bead jewellery. You can keep everything you make for yourself or for a special someone.

ABOUT Crafting for Connecction

There are no limits to how many crafts you fancy getting stuck in to. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to a community art piece. It's up to you whether you fancy chatting while you craft, or hyper-focusing on your pieces in our lovely tranquil tipi.

IS this class suitable for me?

You can come by yourself or with friends and family; you're guaranteed to enter a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. There's absolutely no art or craft experience necessary and Lou will be on hand to give any help and advice with anything you decide to create if you need it. Young people more than welcome!

WHat will i need?

All materials are provided at the session, set out in front of the beautiful lake for you to pick and choose from as and when inspiration strikes!

About Louise

I'm Lou and outside of my full time teaching job, I like to wind down with creative activities. I'm a self-confessed hoarder of glass jars! I can't help but see their pretty potential, mostly as little lights, but I love making pretty random things out of anything and everything.

This can include canvas, clay, beads, ceramic, fabric... anything! I have a designated craft room in my house (that my hamsters watch over) and get immersed in a little project whenever I need to switch from the business of every day life.

Our next Crafting for Connection session will be on Friday, October 30th at 1pm.
