The Meadows Campsite at Pool Bridge Farm

 
 

Set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, the spacious 10-acre Meadows Campsite sits at the heart of Pool Bridge Farm. The spacious, level grass campsite is bordered by mature oak trees, creating a peaceful setting to relax and unwind. Our facilities include:

  • Hot showers, including accessible shower facilities, as well as outdoor showers

  • Toilets, including accessible toilet facilities

  • Changing facilities, including accessible and baby changing facilities

  • Pot wash stations

  • Ice blocks can be refrozen on request; however, there are no fridge or freezer facilities available for guest use

  • Pitches are chosen by you on arrival, giving you the flexibility to camp near friends or choose a more private spot

  • Set in a naturally dark location, the campsite is perfect for stargazing on clear nights

  • Wi-Fi is not available

  • There are no electric hook-ups on the campsite, and generators are not permitted

Camping includes access to the lakes between 8am and 8pm, together with one 2-hour SUP session per day.

SUP sessions must be pre-booked using the free code included in your booking confirmation. Please book your camping stay before reserving sauna or SUP sessions. All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Sauna and SUP sessions are released three months in advance.

Pricing & Booking

  • The campsite is for tents, campervans and motorhomes only - caravans are not permitted.

  • Campervans and motorhomes larger than a VW Transporter (or equivalent) must be approved by Pool Bridge Farm before booking.

  • Camping is priced per person.

  • Arrivals and departures are not available on Saturdays.

  • Visitors under 18 must be supervised by a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult at all times. The maximum adult:child ratio is 1:3

  • Infants aged 2 years and under stay free of charge.

  • Arrival: 1pm on check-in day

  • Departure: 11am on check-out day

  • Note for Online Booking: If a date is shown in red, we are fully booked. If a date is greyed out, there is no availability for your selected stay, so please try changing the length of your stay. Unfortunately, we do not operate a waiting list.

Extras:

  • Sauna experiences are NOT included and must be booked separately online.

Group Bookings

  • Camping is per person, but you can bring multiple tents for your pitch.

  • Groups of up to 6 people can book without prior arrangement.

  • Groups larger than 6 (including children) must email hello@poolbridge.co.uk before booking. Larger groups who don’t pre-confirm may be turned away.

Please read the following before making your booking:

1.     The campsite, like the rest of Pool Bridge, is intended for those wishing to enjoy a peaceful stay in the heart of nature. While we welcome visitors celebrating special occasions, non-family groups of more than six guests, including children, are only permitted with prior permission. If your group exceeds six people, please email us at hello@poolbridge.co.uk before booking. We'll confirm whether we can accommodate your group and advise you on the best way to make your booking.

2.     Want to make lots of noise and play music? Pool Bridge isn't the right place for you, so please choose a venue better suited to your plans.

3.     All pitches must be pre-booked. If you do not have a valid booking, please do not enter the site.

4.     Check-in is from 1pm to 7:30pm.  Please do not enter the campsite before this time. If you arrive early, please speak to a member of staff. If you need any assistance at check-in, please call 07928 359420.

5.     Please keep noise to a reasonable level at all times and be considerate of other visitors.

6. Music is NOT to be played at any time. (Not even if it is really quiet!)

7.     No noise or vehicle movement on the site between 10:00 pm and 8 am.

8.     Vehicle engines must not be run except when arriving at or departing from your pitch.

9.     Generators must not be used on the Meadows Campsite at any time.

10.  Check-out is by 11am. Please ensure your pitch is vacated by this time.

11.  Swimming is included throughout your stay, including all day on both your arrival and departure days. Swimming is available between 8:00 am and 7:45 pm.

12.  One SUP session per day is included with your stay. You must provide your own board, and each session must be pre-booked using the free booking code included in your camping confirmation.

13.  Strictly no access to the lakes or lakeside between 8pm and 8am, except during a designated event for which you hold a valid ticket.

14.  Visitors are not permitted on the campsite. If you wish to meet friends, they must purchase a valid day ticket and you must meet by the lakes during our daytime opening hours.

15.  The campsite is limited to the mown grass area. Access to the woodland, farmland and any areas beyond the campsite boundary is strictly prohibited.

16.   Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the campsite. Please be aware that resident dogs live on site at Pool Bridge.

17.  Please keep the toilets and showers clean and tidy, and leave them as you would expect to find them. If you notice any issues with the facilities, please report them to a member of staff as soon as possible.

18.  Disposable BBQs are not permitted. BBQs may only be used if they are raised off the ground on legs and must not be placed on picnic benches. Please dispose of all ash in the metal ash bins provided.

19.  Please place all litter in the bins provided, separating recycling where appropriate, or preferably take it home with you. Large or broken items, including inflatables, must be taken home.

20. Bookings may be cancelled or amended more than 14 days before the arrival date. Within 14 days of the arrival date, bookings may only be transferred to an alternative date or cancelled, subject to a 20% administration fee.

21. The lakes are open access from the campsite, so we require all children to be closely supervised (for insurance purposes, a child is anyone under 18). There is also a maximum adult to child ratio of 1:3.

21.  Refunds are not available where an event is affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details.  (Should this only appear in T&C’s?)

22.  If a member of staff is not available, please call 07928 359420 between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Outside these hours, please call the appropriate emergency services if required. If you experience any problems with other guests or noise overnight, please report them to a member of staff as soon as possible the following morning.
