Summer Swimming at Pool Bridge Farm
Pool Bridge Farm offers four stunning, peaceful and unique lakes for wild swimmers, nestled amidst nature, yet only 10 minutes from York city centre. We are a place where you can connect with nature, step away from the chaos of everyday life and relax. In Summer we become a place for children and adults alike to enjoy nature and escape from screen time. Children are welcome in our family lake - Q Lake - the other lakes are adult-only. The Monet Lake is a tranquil lake where you can swim amongst the beautiful flowering lilies. The M Lake is where you will find our four wood-fired saunas that can be pre-booked. The Horseshoe Lake offers a stunning 300m circuit.
A few things to note this Spring:
We are open for Day ticket Holders from 8:30am-8pm
All tickets must be purchased online before arriving to help manage numbers and car parking. If there are no tickets available we are sold out.
Other than guide dogs, we do not allow dogs to visit the site.
The safety and privacy of our customers is a priority to us. Therefore we politely request that you do not come for a ‘look around’.
Under 18s MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian and kept under close supervision at all times. Children under 10 and non-swimmers must have an adult in the water with them at arm’s reach. We strongly suggest life jackets even if your child can swim. The maximum adult-to-child ratio is 1:3.
Paddle-boarding sessions must always be booked.
If you are new to outdoor swimming - please do your own research before visiting us and bring appropriate clothing and equipment.
